Palmetto Bay Plantation in Roatan, Honduras is the host to many beach weddings, and it’s easy to see why. With a large sandy beach, tall coconut palm trees, a beautiful isolated location, and an attentive staff dedicated to the wedding, Palmetto Bay Plantation makes it easy to forget about all the details and just enjoy your wedding day.
This couple had a not-so-typical church wedding. Conch shells, and palm fronds made the ‘aisle’ leading to the bamboo ‘alter.’ Guests enjoyed the open blue sky of the beach ‘cathedral’ with a light breeze blowing through their hair. Apart from the beautiful setting, the ceremony proceeded just as expected. After the ceremony I took the newlyweds away for a few quick wedding photos, then they returned to the festivities.
